The Things That Freaked My Week with Rose Lazar of Cosmic Peace Studio
Our guest this week is Rose Lazar.
She founded Cosmic Peace Studio from a love of handmade goods - and wanting to bring them into your home. Through CPS, she explores her art practices of print making, sculpting and painting to create a unique world of objects. Lazar exhibits her work in both traditional and non-traditional art spaces throughout the globe. She also runs a small independent press called Adventures, LTD.
Note from me: I first met Rose twenty years ago when we worked at Paper Source together in Chicago. We hit it off over our shared dislike of the sounds of NPR and the love of a good sitcom. Since then, she has constantly inspired me with her work and her just being Rose. I have lots of CPS in my home (I currently have my eye on her new bookends) and have been carrying this tote she made for years. Basically, I’m a big fan. Rose has done so much to help expand my creative brain, and I’m so excited to share the things you she loves here.
