October Life
Fairytale Yards, Good Docs, A Recipe I Can't Stop Thinking About, Fancy Cups, and more!
This week’s newsletter is a super-sized Freak My Week that includes a recipe for the best thing I’ve eaten this Fall, cherry cola to get you warm and fuzzy, controversial documentaries, making your yard a fairytale, fancy cups, and more. Thank you to all the paid subscribers!
If you’re a freebie subscriber, you’ve got a new recipe coming your way next month (and did you see the two new ones that came out last week?).
Hi,
I sprained my ankle really badly, and I’m about to take an edible to make the pain chill out (isn’t that what the “E” stands for in the RICE method?). So, this letter is short and sweet today. Thankfully, I had all the links ready for your big Freak My Week below. Enjoy!
See you in a couple weeks!
Love,
Jessica

The Things That Freaked My Week
Some things I’m currently into…
Since you can’t hyperlink captions:
• The Flower Shop has a new storefront - and the flowers are unreal.
• The Charleston Library Society is my favorite place to write and study.
• I went to the book release party for Strange Beasts, the first book from my friend Kathyrn’s imprint, Inky Phoenix.
Rose Farm Ground Cherry Cola
A friend of mine just bought these for us to try because I sent her a link to them with a message that just read: “NEED” (that’s a good friend!). We’re going to sit on her porch on election-eve and do our best not to stress about the next day (thankfully I was able to vote early).
